Cross-country skiing star William Poromaa swapped skis for running shoes during the weekend's Swedish Championship in Hässelby and aimed to run ten kilometers in 30 minutes. This was missed. Poromaa ran to the finish line at a time of 31.27.

The 24-year-old had previously stated a clear goal: to break the dream limit of 30 minutes over ten kilometers.

But it was not a full hit this time. Poromaa crossed the finish line at 31.27, just over one and a half minutes over the longed-for time.

The victory went to Sebastian Lörstad, born 2008, who impressed greatly with 28.53, just over two and a half minutes ahead of Poromaa.

Although the goal of 30 minutes cracked, the ski profile could still be pleased with a respectable 28th place in the strong starting field.
