TV4 has not met the requirement to subtitle at least 60 percent of live programs. This is shown by the Swedish Media Authority's review of programs on TV4, Sjuan and TV12.
TV4 must therefore pay a fee of 30,000 SEK, according to the Swedish Media Authority's decision.
Viaplay, in turn, must pay 100,000 kronor for not meeting the requirements for subtitles, sign language interpretation and spoken text. The channel is also criticized for not having sufficient audio interpretation and spoken text in the play service.
The Swedish Media Authority decides how programmes are to be made accessible to people with disabilities. The authority also reviews how media companies meet the requirements.
