The one-month-old pony, named Mile, had a tough start to life when his mother rejected him at birth, and now requires 24-hour care following surgery for a life-threatening infection.

Mile's owner, Andjelka Josipovic, decided to move him from the stable into the family apartment.

Every two hours we heat milk and feed him. If we forget, he wakes up and wakes us up, says Andjelka Josipovic, who lives in a two-room apartment with her partner Kristijan, the couple's two sons and a dog. And now also a horse.

Mile has attracted attention from the neighbors, but no one has complained so far.
