Holmberg started the second period strongly, scoring Tampa’s 2-0 goal just 17 seconds in with a wrist shot assisted by Ilja Michejev and Zemgus Girgensons.
Holmberg and Michejev continued to work well together when Holmberg set up Michejev’s goal with three minutes left in regulation.
Tampa Bay ultimately won 4–1.
