Stadsbacken is the parent company for the municipality's limited companies in Sundsvall. Petter Stenberg, Frida Burman, Desislava Cvetkova, and Anita Bdioui are now leaving their positions within the group, according to a press release from the Social Democrats.
These include the roles of chairman of Stadsbacken and of Sundsvalls Hamn.
In January, the Swedish Economic Crime Agency raided the municipality of Sundsvall and arrested several people suspected of serious fraud and serious accounting fraud. The investigation has since expanded, and now sixteen people are suspects in the case.
