Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said he had ordered a review of the police and intelligence services following the mass shooting at Bondi Beach in Sydney a week ago.
The government will examine whether the authorities have the right powers "to ensure Australians are safe," Albanese said in a statement.
15 people were shot dead and around 40 were injured when two men opened fire on a Hanukkah celebration on Bondi Beach.
