There is no threat to the schools, but the aim is to create a sense of security among students and staff, Deputy Police Chief Erik Lindblad told the radio.
The police have not brought in any extra resources but will be on site at the schools on Monday if time permits.
In addition to police presence, teachers and school health staff at the schools in the municipality will be on site to address students' concerns.
