The police have not yet arrested anyone for the double murder in Klippan. Findings at the scene strongly suggest murder, and now the police are seeking statements from as far back as the weekend before, reports Helsingborgs Dagblad.
It appears that the crime may have occurred several days before the victims were discovered, and it may have happened as early as the night between Saturday and Sunday, May 3 to 4, says Kristin Vernet, senior prosecutor and investigation leader, to the newspaper.
It was on Friday that a man and a woman in their 70-75 years of age were found dead in their home in Klippan in northwestern Skåne. The two deceased were found by a relative.
Over the weekend, the police have conducted a technical investigation and gone door-to-door to talk to potential witnesses.
