The search was carried out in January 2025 after an officer was arrested on suspicion of possessing narcotics and goods hazardous to health, P4 Stockholm reports.

In the suspect's home, police found more than 2.8 liters of GBL, as well as smaller amounts of methamphetamine and cannabis. However, a search of the man's workplace found nothing illegal.

When the suspicion became known, he was suspended from his job and his employment was terminated.

The trial against the officer begins on Tuesday at Stockholm District Court (the district court).
