The police investigated a suspected shooting after an alarm about loud bangs in the Andersberg district of Gävle just after 2 am on Monday.
A large police effort was underway at the scene, but just before 04.30, the police write on their website that no findings have been made that can explain the loud noises. The incident is classified as serious weapons crime.
