"This crime classification covers a broad spectrum of crimes that can be linked to voting in elections," says Fredrik Bratt, deputy national commander in the police's national election staff, in a comment on the police website.
He says that there are no reports similar to the suspected election fraud in Dalarna.
Most of the reports have come in the weeks before and after the election. Since the suspected fraud in Dalarna became known, the number of reports of improper influence during voting has increased.
Most of the reports concern ballots that were stolen, hidden, or not posted by election officials. Many also concern people who allegedly tried to influence how others vote.
