The alarm came at 9:30 on Friday, when the villa was evacuated, as were several other residences in the area.
The national bomb squad was called in and by 1 pm, the object had been transported away.
It was still assessed as a live object, but it is no longer on site. We remain in the area and are working with the information we have gathered – interviews, surveillance footage, and the technical investigation, says Anna Westberg, press spokesperson for the police.
The preliminary investigation is classified as attempted aggravated general endangerment and serious offense against the law on fire hazardous and explosive goods. No one has been arrested.
