Two police officers have been taken to hospital after colliding with a fire truck on their way to an accident site.
The police and rescue services had rushed out to a single-vehicle accident on the E4 just north of Enånger outside Hudiksvall on Sunday afternoon.
During the emergency response, the police car collided with a fire truck. It's a serious accident, the police car had to be cut open to get the colleague out, says the police's press spokesperson Stefan Larsson.
After the accident, there was a stop on the E4 in the southbound direction, but by 5 pm, the police announced that the road was open to traffic again.
