Police officer struck by quad bike near Landvetter Airport outside Gothenburg

The incident occurred at 4:21 p.m. on Sunday, when a police patrol was on its way to check a number of quad bikes, according to police.

It became chaotic and a police officer was hit by one of the quad bikes, Morten Gunneng, the duty police officer, told the newspaper.

The police officer's injuries are described as minor. Several police patrols and a police helicopter have been deployed to arrest the driver.

We have secured one of the other drivers, have good witness information and expect to receive camera footage. The case is currently classified as violence against an official, Morten Gunneng told GP.
