One person has been arrested, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on X.
“This was a terrorist attack,” Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovy wrote on Telegram .
According to Sadovy, the police officer killed was a 23-year-old woman. Several are reported to have serious injuries.
The woman and her colleagues had responded to an alarm about a burglary in progress at a store when two explosions occurred in quick succession, according to local authorities.
An investigation is underway.
