The man is suspected of having assaulted the teenager in his home during 2023 and 2024. According to Chief Prosecutor Nicklas Englund's lawsuit filed with Luleå District Court, the man, taking into account the girl's young age and his close family relationship to her, showed particular recklessness.
He faces four charges of aggravated sexual assault, alternatively negligent sexual assault or sexual harassment.
The policeman denies the crime.
