With a campaign on social media, the police will spread knowledge that explosives are deadly, and counteract that children carry out blasts for the gangs.

The background is that the bombings have increased recently. In many cases, it is children and young people who have been recruited to transport explosive charges and carry out the acts.

"Handling flammable liquids and explosives can be fatal or, for example, cause serious burns, hearing damage or blown-off hands," says Dan Windt, operational coordinator at the police's national operations center in a press release.

The campaign is shown on social platforms where young people are. At the same time, the police are addressing a call to parents to recognize warning signs and to contact the police and social services early.
