Our perception is that the subject cannot be used militarily or professionally, says the police's press spokesperson Pelle Vamstad.
He says that it was instead something similar to fireworks or firecrackers. According to the police, the object was not built so that it could explode.
The object was found at nine o'clock in the morning. An area was cordoned off and the national bomb squad was called in. In the afternoon, the cordons could be lifted.
The incident is classified as a serious crime against the law on flammable and explosive goods and preparation for general destructive devastation.
