A person has been detained for the suspected murder, says prosecutor Eva-Lena Jansson to P4 Dalarna.
There are circumstances at the scene that made it impossible for us to rule out that a crime has been committed, said the police's press spokesperson Sophia Jiglind earlier to TT.
The police are withholding information about the victim and the suspect.
We do not rule out that there may be more arrests, therefore we are cautious with details, said Sophia Jiglind.
The police received a call about a serious violent crime having occurred in an area in Borlänge at 10.30 on Wednesday. A few hours later, the suspected person was arrested.
The police earlier in the day cordoned off a large area around a residence to be able to conduct a technical investigation.
