Police investigate possible arson link after fires in Stockholm’s Södermalm district

We are looking at the fires collectively and working to see if there is any connection, police spokesperson Carina Skagerlind tells TV4.

For example, rubbish bins, patios, a tennis court and a boat have been set on fire around Norra Hammarbyhamnen. Most recently, a shed burned during the night into Saturday.

The police are investigating arson and aggravated arson. Extra resources have been deployed to the affected area.

We have knocked on some doors and are also asking the public for tips if anyone has seen anything, Skagerlind tells TV4.
