At 20.45 on Wednesday, the police announced that a man had been arrested, suspected in the case. The man was arrested in another part of Gothenburg and is suspected of a serious crime. "Specific classification will come later", the police write.
The alarm came in at 19 o'clock about an injured person at an address in Majorna. His injuries "are said to have been caused by something sharp", according to the police. But the extent of the man's injuries, who received care on the spot, is not known.

The police technicians will examine the suspected crime scene.
