The alarm was raised at 10:15 p.m. after several people heard loud bangs. At the scene, it was determined that someone had shot at a window in an apartment building.
"We have opened a preliminary investigation into attempted murder and we suspect that someone tried to kill someone else," says police spokesperson Martina Gradian.
On Thursday morning, police said that one person had been arrested and detained on suspicion of the shooting.
"Right now we can't say if anyone was home in the apartment in question. It was an apartment building and there were people in the building," says Martina Gradian.
No one was injured in the incident.
