The alarm was raised at 10:15 p.m. after several people heard loud bangs. At the scene, it was established that someone had shot at a window in an apartment building.
"We have opened a preliminary investigation into attempted murder and we suspect that someone tried to kill someone else," police spokesperson Martina Gradian said.
The police are currently knocking on doors, interviewing witnesses and reviewing surveillance footage.
"Right now we can't say if anyone was home in the residence in question. It was an apartment building and there were people in the building," Martina Gradian said.
No one was injured and no one has been arrested.
