A new video filmed by the ICE officer who shot and killed a 37-year-old woman in Minneapolis shows the events leading up to the incident, U.S. media report.

In the 47-second clip, published by Alpha News and shared by the US Department of Homeland Security, the driver could be heard saying, "It's okay, I'm not mad at you," as the agent moved around her car. Another woman, identified as the wife of the woman who was shot dead, was standing outside the car.

The driver was asked to get out of her car, but she first reversed and then drove forward. The agent then stood near the front of the car. The camera briefly pointed up into the sky before shots were fired and the car was heard crashing nearby.

The shooting has led to large demonstrations in Minneapolis, among other places.
