The police have stopped two boys armed with hand grenades in Rosengård in Malmö, reports Sydsvenskan.

The public has observed two individuals who are suspected of behaving deviantly. They are found and checked and are suspected of preparation for murder and crime against the law on flammable and explosive goods, says the police's press spokesperson Sara Andersson to TT.

She does not want to neither confirm nor deny that the boys were caught with hand grenades on them. They are under 15 years and thus too young to be deprived of their freedom or convicted of a crime and have therefore been handed over to the social services.

According to Sydsvenskan, the boys are said to have been armed with two hand grenades. Sara Andersson states that it is unknown who they are suspected of having prepared to murder.
