A man was arrested shortly afterwards in the vicinity of the crime scene and another suspected perpetrator is on the run.
We received an alarm about a brawl in an apartment at 22.30 and on the way there we received information that two perpetrators had left the apartment, so when we got there, a police operation was initiated to chase after the perpetrators and when one of them was arrested, a situation arose where a police officer had to fire a warning shot and the man could then be arrested, says Per Fahlström, press spokesperson at the Stockholm police.
The stabbed man has been taken to hospital and his condition is not said to be life-threatening. The crime scene is cordoned off pending a technical investigation.
The man who was arrested is in the same age as the injured, between 25-30 years, says Per Fahlström, press spokesperson.
A preliminary investigation into attempted murder has been initiated.
