There is a report, so much I can confirm, otherwise I will not go into it more, says Emelie Kullmyr, police area manager in Storgöteborg, to TT.
Kullmyr states that the report was drawn up in the spring and that it is an ongoing case.
TV4 News reported earlier in the week that the club director of the all-Swedish IFK Göteborg has been subjected to hate and threats from supporters in recent times. The channel states that Mild has been given police protection, but this has not been confirmed by either the police or the association.
There has been a storm around IFK Göteborg lately. In connection with the all-Swedish home match against Brommapojkarna on Sunday, large parts of the long-side stand at Gamla Ullevi were empty. Supporters boycotted the match after the supporter group was denied permission to bring in a large flag.
The club has since written on its website that a mistake was made when the flag was stopped from being brought in.
”It is important to emphasize that it was not denied due to any written message. The assessment turned out to be incorrect and we regret that”, wrote IFK Göteborg.
Protest auctions have been carried out against Mild before. As recently as June, a man was convicted of threatening the club director.
