Three students at Sigtuna School are suspected of, among other things, aggravated sexual assault and aggravated assault. Police are now conducting another operation at the school.
"We are at the scene carrying out investigative measures. We are conducting a search of a house," Mats Eriksson, the police press spokesperson, told TV4.
The three suspects are all 18 years old. They were arrested during a police operation at the school on Thursday and remanded in custody the following day. Court documents seen by TT show that the suspected crimes were directed against three minor plaintiffs.
According to information provided to several media outlets, the events took place in connection with a "derailed" zeroing, but that is wrong, prosecutor Lisa dos Santos told TT on Tuesday.
This is not something that has emerged in the investigation. I believe that a zeroing is a ritual for those starting high school, but this took place within a more ongoing system in which they control and punish.
