On August 21, an 18-year-old man attacked Brinell School with a sword. A 17-year-old girl was killed and two boys were seriously injured.

The police have now completed their investigation and documentation of the crime scene. In addition, several items have been seized, the police write on their website.

The municipality now has access to the school again, but it will be some time before the premises can be used for teaching.

"Extensive technical measures and restoration of the premises are required" before they can be used again, writes Fagersta Municipality.

The belongings found in the school should be collected and packed up to be returned to their owners.
