A man is in custody in connection with the murder, but in a post on the police website police are asking anyone who was in the area during the night to contact them. This applies "whether you were in a vehicle or on foot" and even if you do not feel you have seen "anything unusual."
The woman, 25, was last seen at Rönninge station in Salem municipality on the night between Christmas Day and Boxing Day 2025. She was found dead the following day.
