Poland will open its border to Belarus this week, says Prime Minister Donald Tusk.

Poland to Reopen Border with Belarus This Week

The border was closed on September 12, as a response to a Russian-Belarusian military exercise. When it is now over, the border will be opened again, during the night to Thursday.

If necessary, if tensions or aggressive behavior from some neighboring countries intensify, we will not hesitate to close the crossings again, says Tusk.

The closure also came after a dozen Russian drones were detected over Poland, where several of them were shot down, but the decision had already been made.
