It was pretty much already decided before the 21st and final stage. Tadej Pogacar was dominant in this year's Tour de France, and his margin of victory was more than six minutes.
Now he joins the exclusive club of cyclists with five overall victories, alongside icons Jacques Anquetil, Eddy Merckx, Bernard Hinault and Miguel Indurain. The 27-year-old is the youngest cyclist to reach the five-victory milestone, more than a year younger than Belgian Merckx when he won his fifth title.
Dutchman Mathieu van der Poel won the final stage.
