Hanna Rajs, who made her debut in 2018 with the poetry collection "Arms", receives the award for "writing that changes language and renews contemporary literature".
"With her idiosyncratic portrayal of both loss and love, and her search for tradition and family heritage, she has created a completely unique tone in which reality and visions flow together," the jury writes in its citation.
Hanna Rajs, who is currently working on a new poetry collection, "Klamra", has previously received the Sonja Åkesson Prize, among others.
The Mare Kandre Prize is awarded by the magazine 20-tal in collaboration with the family of the late author Mare Kandre.
