Players suspended after gambling scandal

The Turkish Football Federation has suspended 102 players following the extensive betting scandal that was recently uncovered.

The players, who play in the highest leagues, receive suspensions of between 45 days and one year.

The other day, 1,024 players were temporarily suspended during the ongoing investigation into the gambling scandal where they are suspected of having bet money on football matches.

Around 150 referees are also suspended because they are being investigated for officiating at football matches over the past five years.
