Player hit opponent with stick – risks suspension

FC Helsingborg's Felix Uutisalo hit the opponent with his stick in the weekend's meeting with Storvreta in the Swedish floorball league SSL.

The incident has been reported to the Swedish Floorball Federation's legal committee and the 24-year-old risks suspension.

I checked how he was and said it wasn't on purpose. He said it wasn't a big deal, said Uutisalo to Expressen afterwards.

The Helsingborg player received a 2+2 minute penalty for the action. Oskar Enquist, the Storvreta player who received the hit, downplayed the situation.

It was a mistake and he didn't mean any harm, he said to Expressen.
