The rapper behind ”Rather lie” and ”Magnolia” has gotten problems on the tour. According to limousine driver Carl Reynolds, the rapper should have attacked both him and his girlfriend on October 2, while Reynolds was driving Carti and his entourage to a rehearsal. Carti was then in Utah on tour.
According to Reynolds, a situation escalated when Carti and his girlfriend started arguing – allegedly about sex – in the back seat. The driver tried to intervene and then Carti should have threatened to hit both her and him.
According to TMZ, Carti then should have hit his girlfriend in the chest, which made the driver stop the car in a safer place along the highway. He claims that he then asked Carti's security chief to take the rapper out of the vehicle.
In connection with this, Carti should also have dealt a blow to Reynolds, which should have resulted in a swollen jaw and whiplash injury, before the security chief intervened and stopped the fight.
Reynolds is said to be planning to hire a lawyer, but says that his main purpose is to prevent Carti from harming anyone else – including his girlfriend.
