There will be no Serie A match between Milan and Como in Perth, Western Australia in February.
According to Serie A chairman Ezio Simonelli, the Asian Football Confederation has made extended and unacceptable demands, which make it impossible for the match to be played on Australian soil.
Milan wanted to play in Perth because its home stadium, San Siro, is busy with the Winter Olympics. It would have been the first league match in any of Europe's top five leagues to be played abroad.
Earlier this fall, the Spanish La Liga backed down from plans for Barcelona and Villarreal to play a league match in Miami.
