The person who stormed the pitch when IFK Göteborg met Öster in May and attacked Öster defender Sebastian Starke Hedlund will be prosecuted. This is confirmed by prosecutor Mats Ihlbom.
It is difficult to get better evidence than live broadcast TV images, says Ihlbom to Göteborgs-Posten.
He continues:
The prosecution concerns partly a crime against the Public Order Act for the pitch invasion itself. Then there is an attempt to assault Sebastian Starke Hedlund. Then a few things happened afterwards as well. Including threats against a public official and violence against a public official. That is also included in the prosecution.
The trial date has not yet been set. Previously, the person has been given a three-year ban from access.
