Despite a large security effort, a plane stormer managed to get on the grass at Ullevaal in the World Championship qualifying match between Norway and Israel in Oslo. It is supposed to be the Italian Mario "Falken" Ferri, who has made similar actions during, for example, World Championship matches.

It was in the seventh minute that the referee had to blow the game off temporarily due to a pitch invasion. Guards could quickly stop the man, who later turned out to be Mario Ferri, better known as "Falken", writes the news agency NTB.

The Italian ran into the pitch during the World Championship in Qatar 2022 with the rainbow flag in the match between Portugal and Uruguay.

His first pitch invasion was in 2009 when he in the match Italy–Netherlands demanded that the striker Antonio Cassano should be allowed to take a place in Italy's World Championship squad. He has since made political statements by running into the pitch with different messages during several major matches, including during the World Championship in Brazil 2016.

The meeting between Norway and Israel is considered a high-risk match. Before kick-off, around 1,000 people demonstrated outside the arena against the war in Gaza, even though Israel on Friday approved the first phase of the US peace plan for the war.
