A day ago, Alberto Gilardino was fired as Pisa coach. The Italian took over the club in 2025, which is currently second from bottom in Serie A.
According to Sportbladet, Elfsborg coach Oscar Hiljemark is reportedly high on the list to replace Gilardino.
Hiljemark has been Elfsborg's coach for a year and a half. Last season he led the club to eighth place in the Allsvenskan.
Hiljemark previously played for Palermo and Genoa in Italy. His first coaching job was at Danish club Aalborg BK in 2021.
