The pilots' union began a two-day strike on Monday. Now the cabin crew union has announced a strike on Wednesday and Thursday.
The strike is being called because of a dispute over pay and pension levels. At Frankfurt Airport alone, Germany's largest, 572 out of 1,322 flights were cancelled on Monday.
The strike means, among other things, cancelled departures from Arlanda to several German destinations on Monday and Tuesday.
