It was the pilot of a regular flight that was on its way to Arlanda to land who saw two drones in the air in the Farsta area in the southern parts of Stockholm.
The drone was seen at 10:30 on Thursday. It is unclear what type of drone it is. The model or size is also not known at present.
I have no details, but the police have been in contact with the pilots at Arlanda after landing to gather information about the observation they had from the air, says Rebecka Landberg, press spokesperson for the police.
A preliminary investigation into negligence in air traffic has been initiated. In recent days, drones over airports in Denmark have stopped air traffic.
