"Thank You Sweden" (Sweden's official Olympic song for Milano Cortina 2026) is written by Pidde P, whose real name is Petter Hedwall, and is from the athletes' perspective.
"A tribute to everyone who has been behind them: the fans, the families, the friends and the coaches. I wanted to make a song that means something - a song where the athletes can say thank you back. The support from Sweden is what carries them forward," he says in a press release.
In 2018, Pidde P was behind the unofficial Swedish World Cup song "We're going to send our cruel dads to Moscow".
"Thank You Sweden" will be released on January 16.
