"Another wonderful challenge in the world of women's football. And to have the chance to learn new things all the time," she tellsthe TV channel.

Sundhage's contract runs until the end of the year, but can be extended if Haiti qualifies for the World Cup in Brazil next summer.

The next qualifying match for Haiti will be played on March 3 against Suriname.

Lilie Persson will become assistant coach.

Sundhage has previously been national team coach for Sweden, the USA and Brazil.
