The book "The Golden Compass" which is about Lyra and her companion Pan, has been made into both a film and a TV series.
Pullman's latest book was published five years ago and in the literary magazine "Babel" he tells that he has recently finished his very last manuscript about Lyra.
When the book will be released and what the title will be has not yet been announced, but the title will be "something with roses", according to Pullman.
Pullman received the literary prize in memory of Astrid Lindgren in 2005 with the motivation: "Through his colorful characters, he stands on the side of the young person, questions authorities, preaches humanism and the power of love, and maintains his optimistic faith in the child in the darkest situations".
"Babel" is broadcast on SVT2 on Sunday, April 27 at 20.00.
An uncut, longer version of the interview with Philip Pullman can be seen in "Babel's library" on SVT Play from Friday, April 25.
