According to anonymous sources speaking to Golf Digest magazine, the suspension is due to Mickelson engaging in unwanted contact with the woman.
Mickelson has not commented on the allegations, but a spokesperson for the 55-year-old told The Athletic that "all misunderstandings have been cleared up."
The golf club says that a thorough investigation of the incident was conducted and that the person in question is no longer a member of the club.
In April, Phil Mickelson announced that he would be taking an extended break from professional golf, citing family health issues.
