There was no compensation for those who were affected by the PFAS-contaminated water in Kallinge for several years. But the driving PFAS association does not give up.

The association means that the decision from the Chancellor of Justice, that the ten-year limitation period has expired, is based on incorrect information. The association claims that the contaminated water should have been delivered for a longer period than what the decision is based on.

"That the state, which bears the ultimate responsibility for the PFAS contamination, tries to wriggle out of it by relying on incorrect information about the limitation period is completely unacceptable" writes Herman Afzelius, chairman of the PFAS association.

The association believes that the state's previous arguments lack grounds and has now turned to the Chancellor of Justice with a new letter where they demand redress.
