Petra Mede was scheduled to host the event "A Night in Hollywood" at Dalhalla in August. She has been forced to cancel for health reasons.

Earlier in January, Petra Mede withdrew from the role as emcee for this year's QX gala due to back pain.

She then told QX magazine that her back problems "have worsened in recent days" and that, in consultation with her doctor, she had decided to cancel all commitments for the near future.

Mede has previously said that as a young dancer she injured her back and therefore sometimes suffers from severe pain.

During “A night in Hollywood” on August 7–8, Mede will be replaced by Kristin Kaspersen, who will also be participating as an artist. On stage, she will be joined by Dalasinfoniettan, Martin Stenmarck and Linda Pritchard, among others.
