Petra Mede has been forced to step down from her role as emcee at this year's QX gala due to back pain, according to Expressen.
I am so sorry to have to announce that my back problems have worsened in recent days and, in consultation with my doctor, I have come to the conclusion that I unfortunately have to cancel all of my commitments for the foreseeable future, Petra Mede told QX.
Mede has previously said that she injured her back as a young dancer and therefore can sometimes suffer from severe back pain. In 2023, she was forced to give up her role as host of "Let's Dance".
