During his second season on the PGA Tour, Jesper Svensson - ahead of the tournament in Toronto - has missed the cut in seven of the first ten events of the season.
Until this week, eighth place in Puerto Rico in March was his best result on the PGA Tour. In Toronto, the 30-year-old set a new personal best with a tie for fourth.
Going into Sunday, he was tied for third - two strokes off the lead - but never got his game going. Svensson was on par until the 15th hole.
There, he made a birdie, and when the Swede finished with another birdie on the 18th hole, he was two under for the day and 13 under overall. American Bud Cauley won at 17 under par.
