A man in his 30s was shot during Sunday evening in Överås in Gothenburg.
According to information to Göteborgs-Posten the man was shot with several shots but it is unclear if he is life-threateningly injured.
Police were alerted to the residential area at 22.53 and when the patrol arrived at the scene, a person was found shot outdoors, the police state on their website.
The area is cordoned off for a technical investigation and an investigation into murder or attempted manslaughter has been initiated.
